Christie Schichtel
Christie Schichtel serves as Program Manager of the Mentor Michigan College Coaching Corps. An advocate for national service and volunteerism, she served as a Michigan Campus Compact AmeriCorps*VISTA with the Alma College Center for Responsible Leadership in 2009-2010. More recently, Christie graduated from the University of Michigan School of Social Work where she earned a Master of Social Work, specializing in community organization. Prior to coming to this role with MNA, she also supported capacity building initiatives for nonprofit organizations and neighborhoods in Detroit through the University of Michigan Technical Assistance Center to the Skillman Foundation.
