Position Description (include how to apply):

Employed as department head for office management and financial concerns of The Arc of Oakland County, Inc., and reports directly to the Executive Director. General duties encompass coordination of all financial matters and purchasing for the agency, which includes the preparation and maintenance of the agency budgets, accounts, auditor liaison, and the income and expenditures records necessary for agency operations.

DESIRABLE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in standard accounting practice and procedures.
  • Extensive computer literacy relative to financial programs, and knowledge of applications.
  • Professional extensive knowledge of payroll taxes, F.I.C.A. rules and non-profit Internal Revenue Service requirements.
  • Ability to convey technical budget-financial information to layperson.
