TechTown Detroit seeks a hyper-organized, digital and media-savvy marketing and communications professional with superior writing and storytelling skills. A key member of a small and dynamic communications and marketing team, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator will support a wide range of integrated marketing efforts for TechTown, its co-working and event/conference spaces, and its partner, the Wayne State Office of Economic Development (OED). Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator will work in close collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager and Designer as well as the program and development teams of both TechTown and OED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and video/production software
  • Knowledge of and interest in entrepreneurship, startups, small businesses and/or community and economic development issues in Detroit
