Briefing on the Economic & Social Power of the Nonprofit Workforce
Thursday, May 28, 2020,  3:00 -  4:00

Ever feel like those of us who work in nonprofits are small potatoes compared to business and government leaders? The truth is, we’re bigger and badder than you might think.

This briefing will explore the economic and social importance of our workforce and our work, and how we can help policymakers understand and support nonprofit workers. First, we’ll get the national overview from the Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Civil Society Studies, and then we’ll dig into state and local perspectives in major hubs of nonprofit work - that have also been pandemic hotspots.
